Long Term Care

At Mimbres Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, we cultivate a deep respect for human life and we provide compassionate, nurturing residential care to individuals who are no longer able to live on their own or need care beyond that which can be provided by family members.

Through carefully planned rehabilitation, patients can recover or increase their ability to perform activities of daily living. This may involve re-learning language or speech, regaining motor skills, coordination and memory or recovering strength and stamina through good nutrition and exercise. For some patients, rehabilitation may also include the adoption of compensatory skills that will allow them to function more independently on their own.
